How can your prices be so low?

Micro Printing is able to offer lower prices because we print orders in very large quantities, on large sheets of paper which are then cut down after printing has occurred, also known as "gang run" printing. This helps to reduce the costs of making printing plates and other setup fees.

What payment options are available?

All orders going to print must be pre-paid.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards. If you need to pay with a check or money-order, it should be sent overnight to prevent slowing down the process of your order, and a copy of the check should be sent to us via fax (954.974.3499), along with the tracking number of the overnight package.

Is there an extra charge for bleeds?

No, we do not charge extra for bleeds. All bleeds should be 1/8" extra on all four sides of your layout. Please visit our Templates page for blank layout templates of the most common sizes of business cards, flyers and postcards that we print.

The proofing process

DUE TO THE DIFFERENCES IN HOW A MONITOR DISPLAYS COLOR (RGB COLOR MODE) AND HOW A PRINTING PRESS PRINTS COLOR (CMYK COLOR MODE), AN ONLINE (SOFT) PROOF IS NOT AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF WHAT YOUR FINAL PRINTED PIECE WILL LOOK LIKE. An online proof is only to demonstrate that your job has been successfully preflighted for printing and provides you one final chance to preview your job prior to the printing process.

We will show you an online proof of your job shortly after receiving it in our production department, but actual time will vary depending on our current workload and may take up to 48 hours. No job will be sent to press without your approval, so please reply as quickly as possible. Please take note that an on-line proof is by no means an accurate color reproduction of your final printed piece but is a final opportunity for you to check the layout, bleeds, crops and final text.

After we have shown you an online proof and you determine that you need to submit new files you can do so by Uploading Your New Files Here. But due to the time it takes to pre-flight and prep your files, a $25 fee will be assessed each time you submit new artwork. If you need to submit new files because the original files are corrupt or not suitable for printing, you will not be charged.

By the time your job gets in our hands and we are ready to go to print, all edits should be finalized, the copy carefully proofread and all design issues should be settled. We we will not take responsibility for any copy or design errors committed on your part. Micro Printing is also not responsible for any wrong dates or misspelled words in files submitted by customer or jobs approved by customer upon design completion.

ALL FILES AND DIGITAL ARTWORK SUBMITTED TO US FOR PRINTING ARE TO "FINAL, PRINT READY FILES/DIGITAL ARTWORK This means that the minimum resolution is to be at 300 dpi and your files are ready to print "as is". Micro Printing will print exactly what is sent to us and WILL NOT be held liable for digital artwork that is not print ready quality or the resulting printed piece.

VERY IMPORTANT DETAILS CONCERNING COLOR REPRODUCTION Gang-Run Printing refers to the specialization in supplying customers with affordable four-color printing. Utilizing this method known as "Gang-Running", this approach combines your short-run jobs with others having similar requirements. This allows the initial production costs to be spread out over several jobs, greatly reducing the make-ready charges for each customer. All work is carried out by skilled professional on state-of-the-art equipment to assure you quality work at affordable prices.

BUT GANG-RUN PRINTING HAS IT'S LIMITATIONS
Because of limitations with the Gang-Run printing process, as well as neighboring image ink requirements the accuracy of color reproduction is not guaranteed and by placing and order with micromp.net you agree to this limitation. We accept no responsibility for color variations between submitted files and the final printed piece. Under no circumstances will a reprint be honored for color variations that have occurred during the printing process.

How do I view and approve my proof for printing?

Once we have pre-flighted or designed your job, we will send you an email with a link and unique proof number for viewing your proof online. If the proof meets your approval and is ready for print with no additional changes, you must reply to the email with your approval. No job will be sent to press without your approval, so please reply as quickly as possible.

In the case that changes need to be made to the proof you must notify us of the changes by email using our online proofing system. No changes will be taken over the phone.
